Numerous South Africans in Qatar have been contacted by the embassy stating that they need to arrange for their own passport collections from DIRCO in SA. (The embassy said they no longer have a courier service to bring the newly issued passports back to Qatar) We were successful at DIRCO in collecting the 2 passports this morning for 2 people that contacted me yesterday!
